Автоматическое обновление

Первый вариант того, как обновить версию Тим Вивер, основывается на том, чтобы автоматизировать весь процесс и активировать автозагрузку. В результате некоторых действий программа будет самостоятельно искать обновления на специальном сервере и обновляться.

Как исправить ошибку

Сразу же пробуем сбросить данные авторизации при помощи функции «Mark as new». Если невозможно подключиться к партнеру, тогда перезапускаем Teamviewer. Это рекомендуется сделать всем удаленным партнерам. Если операция не дала результатов, тогда всем участникам нужно перезапустить компьютеры. При длительной работе операционной системы запускаются службы по работе с ошибками, препятствующие подключению.

Следующий вариант исправления ошибки – актуальная версия Тимвьювер.

Всем участникам необходимо убедиться, что они пользуются одинаковой версий программы. При использовании разных версий возникает конфликтность программного обеспечения.

I november 2021, I purchased a Premium and forever licence. I paid US$ 1,500.00. I hoped to be using, that expensive licence, for a long time, but a year later was released the version 11 and then began my problems, becase many users had version and I could not access those PCs, and they had to remove the version 11 and reinstall the version 10, and the same problem with the version 12, 13 and so forht. Since the version 15 was released, those PCs running this version could no acces thos PCs using the version 10. In others words, my expensive Premium License was almost inusual and I’ve facing a lot of trouble to connect with the PCs with the new versions. Even, PCs running Window Server 2021 and above, neither runs the version 10 and there is not any patch to update and be able to access the servers running window 2021.

Then that means I have not useful licence, nonetheless I paid a lifetime licence. And the opcions that Teamviers offers to me si so expensive and inconvenient that seriuosly I’ve thinking FORGET Teamviewer, accept I was cheated becasue my expensive paid licence was not lifetime. Thats, actually is a fraud and must exists any that protect the agreement with the consumer. I Teamviewer is goign the change the rules, shoul give our money back.

I’m interested in class action lawsuit too (I’m a v10 user, 2021). I called them today and the person I spoke with said they would send an email to their management but as far as he knows it wasn’t an option to continue or just be upgraded to v11. They are still supporting v11, so I told him to just upgrade me one version, I don’t need v15. He said he would email me but it didn’t sound like he was optimistic about getting a positive response.

He said, “we’ll, if I calculate the years you have used the software based on what you paid, it comes to $XXX so we’ll work with you on the subscription price to match what your yearly price was.” I said, I don’t think so, I bought a “Perpetual” license, which means ongoing/forever for the price I paid. If there are security concerns and the software I have can’t be patched to make it secure, then you should upgrade to the next secure version for free.

It highly unethical to build a business based on a forever license and then force you to switch to a subscription once they have a huge user base.

I appreciate that you took the time to post a response. However, considering that the whole point of Teamviewer is for “remote connections”, saying that the software will continue to work on “local area networks” would be laughable if it weren’t so insulting.

Also, your claim that “the planned deprecation honors any and all contractual commitments” is an outright lie, as you can see below in the quoted text from your EULA for perpetual licenses:

“5. Server availability

For the proper use of the TeamViewer software the availability of the TeamViewer master server may be necessary. TeamViewer GmbH will take measures to ensure a high availability of the server. However, it is not possible to guarantee an uninterrupted availability.

TeamViewer guarantees that the server will be available and usable with the purchased version for a period of at least 10 years after purchase. If the transmission protocol changes in the meantime, an update will be provided to the customer free-of-charge if it is mandatory for further use.”

As you can clearly see, Teamviewer’s contractual obligation is to provide at least 10 years of Server availability.

I can assure you that unless a reasonable accommodation will be made for Teamviewer 9 & 10 licensees, I fully intend to follow through with my stated intent to pursue legal action and create a class action lawsuit, which costs the plaintiffs nothing. Class Action lawyers make money on winning their cases, so they’re highly motivated. As you can clearly see from this thread, there is no lack of people interested in being a part of this lawsuit.

In reality, I would hope that legal action would not be necessary and that Teamviewer will act in good faith to honor your commitment and keep your clients happy…. those clients that trusted you and paid large licensing fees with the promise of a “perpetual license”.

1. Please Note

   The following terms and conditions apply for all licensing models and product version of TeamViewer.

2. Satisfaction guarantee

   All new orders have a guarantee of satisfaction of 7 days. All payments per credit card will be authorized when the purchase is done (validated) but not charged.

   The respective credit card will not be charged until the 7-day satisfaction guarantee period has elapsed.

   A cancellation may follow without giving reasons in written form.

   In case of doubt, the customer is responsible for providing proof of a cancellation in time.

   Subscription licenses with a limited period of validity of one month, starting from the delivery date, shall be extended automatically for another month. 14 days before expiry of the contract, the customer may cancel without giving reasons in written form.

   Subscription licenses with a limited period of validity of one year, starting from the delivery date, shall be extended automatically for another year. 28 days before expiry of the contract, the customer may cancel without giving reasons in written form. The customer is responsible for providing proof of a cancellation in time.

   Please notice that, when paying per invoice, not paying the invoiced amount is insufficient. The obligation to pay the invoiced amount only ceases to be applicable if the order has been cancelled within 7 days after purchase.

   TeamViewer GmbH has the right to increases the prices at its sole discretion after notification has been sent to customer by email at least two weeks in advance. The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract until the new price will be effective.

3. Payment and retention of ownership

   The customer only acquires the right to use the products according to the specification upon receipt of payment in full by TeamViewer.

   TeamViewer GmbH reserves the right to offset any customer liabilities against a customers’ due payments.

   In case of delay of payment, access to the TeamViewer-master server may be blocked.

   Payment for Subscription licenses with a limited period of validity of one month can only be submitted by credit card.

   All costs that are caused by abusing credit cards, reverse charging due to lack of credit etc., are paid by the customer.

   Every abuse of credit cards or account information will be pursued.

   All invoices are net tax and net withholding tax. Any additional taxes at expense of customer. Bank and credit card charges at expense of customer.

4. Rights and licenses

   When buying software, the buyer acquires only the right to use the product according to its specification and End User License Agreement (“EULA”). All software packages remain the intellectual property of TeamViewer GmbH.

   The customer must take appropriate measures to ensure that the products will only be used according to license agreements inside the company. This especially applies to the protection against illegal copying of the software.

   The customer is responsible for all damages which result from a violation of the copyright instructions or illegal use.

5. Server availability

   For the proper use of the TeamViewer software the availability of the TeamViewer master server may be necessary. TeamViewer GmbH will take measures to ensure a high availability of the server. However, it is not possible to guarantee an uninterrupted availability.

6. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

   TeamViewer applies legal provisions regarding the warranty period beginning from the point of the first provision of service.

   Within this period, the customer has the right to insist on correction of faults or replacement in the case of liability on the part of the vendor.

   A breach of warranty shall be defined as the absence of a warranted function which shall not include the suitability of the software for a particular purpose. It is the obligation of the customer to verify prior to entering into the agreement, whether the purchased software is suitable for the intended purpose for legal or other reasons.

   Especially for technical reasons, it can not be guaranteed, that all computers will be reachable with TeamViewer without any exceptions or errors. Advanced firewall technologies as well as special network structures can reduce the connection quality in some cases. This behavior has to be checked by the customer during the test period; a potential failure has not to be considered as an absence of a warranted function.

   If TeamViewer GmbH is not willing or able to remove the faults or deliver a replacement or the process fails for other reasons, the customer has the right to insist on revoking the contract or receiving an appropriate rebate on the purchase price.

   Any further claims asserted by the customer, particularly claims for damages of any kind, are excluded.

   NEITHER TEAMVIEWER GMBH NOR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES AND LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF SAVINGS, REVENUE OR DATA INCURRED BY CUSTOMERS OR ANY THIRD PARTY, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Data Protection

   Information in accordance with § 33 BDSG: The customer’s data will be stored in the form of name and address of the residence and business location respectively for internal use.

   If requested by customer TeamViewer will record and store the connection logs of a session within the Management Console for a time period of 12 months starting from the purchase of the license.

8. Final clauses

   Place of fulfillment for traders, legal persons of public law, as well as customers without a place of general jurisdiction in Germany, is Goeppingen.

   Only German law applies

   Alterations of contract must be in written form.

Just to correct what you have said, I have only purchased TV 10 CORPORATE license. Never TV9 ,,,, BUT a couple of days ago I received 2 emails about 10 minutes apart. The first one reconfirmed that TV 10 users would be “turned off on 1 June 2021” then the second email i got only related to only TV 9 users (ALTHOUGH I HAVE NEVER BEEN A TV 9 USER), it said ,,,,

oggi all’apertura del mio TV10 è apparsa la finestrella che dice che avrò il 50% di sconto a vita per tutte le eventuali versioni future.

Lo sforzo di TV a trovare un compromesso è molto discutibile; in quanto mi metto nei panni di chi aveva acquistato più postazioni e dovrà pagare una cifra comunque notevole.

Sebbene io nel mio piccolo ho una singola licenza, la cosa poteva essere fattibile.

Ma con l’allarmismo che si è creato, ho cercato e acquistato una alternativa a TV molto più conveniente e flessibile.

Non posso fare pubblicità, ma chi è nel settore sicuramente ha trovato una soluzione.

Se TV avesse fatto apparire prima l’offerta del 50% è molto probabile che avrei aderito.

Ma invece TV mi ha spaventato e leggendo i vostri commenti ho preso la decisione di passare ad altro RDP.

Uno schiaffo a chi ha gestito il marketing; persone che sicuramente hanno solo la brama di far soldi e che non sanno che il primo veicolo pubblicitario siamo noi TECNICI IT.

Hello guys, as a user of Team viewer 10, I come here to tell you, that perpetual software license is really 10 years, with this the company itself will be giving forever in the internal use of its network, I believe it is more than fair . LOL teamviewer support is suggesting that after the expiry date the old license for that EOL still works BUT ON LAN only. Not able to available access outside the LAN. Further giving me an analogy of windows XP. How can teamviewer you compare yourself with windows XP. End of life for windows XP, i can still use the software, still access the internet, i only do not get upgrades to close security loopholes, so my continue of XP will be at my own risk.

BUT TEAMVIEWER, your product is for REMOTE ACCESS from the outside, I didnt buy the license for internal use, it was for REMOTE ACCESS. now you are telling me the version can still use internal netowkr but i cannot access remotely anymore, You are rendering the whole software USELESS. You can’t compare your product with other software, your product is meant for remote access.

I am really dissapointed if I knew this whole PERPETUAL LICENSE would end up like this I would never even have consider paying so much in the beginning, the consideration for the price I paid was that it will not render the SOFTWARE USELESS…

The license was actually only for V7, but was upgraded to V9 for free complimentary. Had this not been done, this would have actually ended back at the EOL of V7.

This is the same as buying something like Windows XP, the application will eventually reach end of life and will no longer have certain online services or upgrades.

Once the server services are discontinued for V9, you can still use the software in a LAN environment – however we will no longer be providing server services for the version as these pose a risk to our network.

I have the Teamviewer 10 Premium license from 2021s too and the same thing is now happening to me.

I am 40 years old, computer programmer for 19 years and I have NEVER EVER seen anything like this before.

Selling a “life-time” license and “forcing to upgrade or stop it” after 5 years is called “SCAMMING”, whatever the reason is. So please cut the “security” **bleep**, it is NOTHING to do with it. It is all about money, the money you keep asking for NO REASON.

I have the license aggreement and I have every right to go to law suit.

Teamviewer, gosh, do NOT think you will get away with this.

Once a law suit is won against this matter, it will stand as example and all other suits that follows will be instantly won.

What a bad reputation for you, a reputation that you actually deserve.

PS: For all, I will update here when I open the law suit. I have my own lawyer and we already have a meeting next week. I’ve just printed out the License Agreement to deliver him and I believe he can handle the rest.
